Story
It had been a few months since their town was being terrorised by a vicious monster. Many braves had tried to vanquish it and failed. When it seemed that all hope was lost, she arrived, bearing nothing but her lute. The king was sceptical and his knights jeered at her request to try her hand at fighting the monster, but their options were running out. She fearlessly stood before the monster, strumming a beautiful melody on her lute. The monster was transfixed, as though caught in a spell, and eventually lay down to sleep. And thus it would sleep for the next million years, as the legends foretold. The king was overjoyed and humbled – begging for her forgiveness, he presented her with the kingdoms highest honour. It was the Crown of Mars that was accorded to only the bravest, most valiant warriors.
Be your bravest self when you wear this fiery black, red and gold saree, made of cotton-zari.
Description
One of the most popular natural fibres in the world, cotton is hailed for its beauty, comfort, durability and versatility. Cotton is also naturally sustainable and its cultivation supports local farmers and communities. A low maintenance fabric, cotton is also hypoallergenic, making it the perfect choice around the year. The addition of zari adds a delicate but regal sheen, which makes these sarees ideal for casual or occasion-wear.
